Turned the Corner

Had a great conversation with Randy. Surgery went well, they put a titanium plate in Carries forehead during the eye socket surgery. They still believe her vision fine and are amazed that she has no brain injuries. She came out of surgery with no tubes left in her except for the IV. After awaking from recovery she had Randy bringing her buckets of water and soap and brushes. She has a new outlook and is ready to get up and about. She will still have to go through the heal reconstruction, but all is looking very good.

  1. Carrie, great news about your eye surgery. You are such an inspiration. You and Randy are such a remarkable team at everything you do, which includes getting you well and back home. Thought you would send us more rain but we got 7 new inches of snow last night. Oh well, it is pretty. Sounds like you are getting stronger every day. May prayers and thoughts for you. God Bless, Kelly, Mike Reggear and family

  11. Carrie,

We have been praying so very hard for you since the accident. We pray that God wraps you in his Love and Mercy. We pray that he gives you and your family all the strength you need to get through this and shine even better than before. May he shower you with his Grace and an abundance love and faith. May he heal all that is in his divine Will.

You have about 60 women from St. Patrick's Catholic Church Mothers Club in Dallas praying our hearts out and offering up for you. Thanks to your cousin, Kelly.

Here is a wonderful prayer for you and all in need of God's healing hand:

Lord, You invite all who are burdened to come to You. Allow your healing hand to heal me. Touch my soul with Your compassion for others. Touch my heart with Your courage and infinite love for all. Touch my mind with Your wisdom, that my mouth may always proclaim Your praise. Teach me to reach out to You in my need, and help me to lead others to You by my example. Most loving Heart of Jesus, bring me health in body and spirit that I may serve You with all my strength. Touch gently this life which You have created, now and forever. Amen.
